Conscious Breathing Meditations

with Joe Waller

Conscious breathing is Pranayama. It’s controlling one’s breathing with specific intentions, toward specific and general goals. We all know peace lies within. By practicing specific breathing techniques—pranayams—we are able to influence our physical bodies, and that in turn influences our mind and emotions and our ability to reach a higher consciousness—a place of greater awareness and stillness within our true selves, our more natural selves. Controlled breathing improves our physical health—ALL systems in the body benefit from these practices, including our immune system. But particularly meaningful is that we all can move from our more egocentric definition of reality to that place of meditative higher consciousness, toward the more etheric realm of our awareness. This is a doorway to reach stillness within ourselves. We want to move toward a “reality” which is apart from the day-to-day stimuli to which we respond.

I invite you to join us live or here via this link to these many archived recordings of our video practice. We discuss these things from an intellectual perspective—the hows and whys of it all—and we practice different breathing techniques and meditation.

About Joe Waller

Hello I’m Joe Waller. I am, as you are, many things. What’s most relevant now for me to share with you is this: The current path that I’m on in my life now is deeply rich and grounding for me. And I’m profoundly grateful to be able to share and practice with you some of the most powerful and effective ways we—you and I—can all hugely benefit ourselves. These days, I am a practicing yogi, a Certified Kundalini Teacher, a student of the mind arts and I consider myself spiritual. I’m a West-Texas native who stumbled on some really good things that have been around for thousands of years. And I’m happy to share and grateful to Unity for the opportunity. It’s about as simple as that, friends. I’m all about you. This is my public service to and for you. And, of course, this brings me richness. This helps me internalize my knowledge and beliefs; and I receive great satisfaction and happiness from that as well. We are one. All Blessings, Peace, Namasté.
