The Omer
This Sunday, we welcome guest speaker, Rabbi Jonathan Siger, who will educate us on the medieval Jewish mystical innovation that transformed an ancient agriculture-inspired counting of days into a roadmap for spiritual engagement and renewal.
Join us for an enriching message, beautiful music, and wonderful time spent together.
Measure of a Man?
For our special Father's Day service, we welcome guest speaker, Rabbi Jonathan Siger, to talk with us about the Divine Masculine in Jewish tradition and its complexities. Rabbi Siger will give us a brief history of βOur Father, Our Kingβ and the theological implications and consequences, and he promises: it will be funnier than it sounds.
Join us as we celebrate the Divine Masculine in all of us with great humor, heartfelt music, and loving fellowship.
Ritualizing Grief
The Hebrew date of the 9th of Av (Sunday, July 18th this year) is the darkest, saddest day of the calendar in Jewish tradition. Rabbi Siger will explain the roots of this somber holiday, some of the practices observed and how the lessons of this particularly Jewish holy day have universal lessons and applications.
Loss and grief are part of the human condition and can be experienced as individuals or as communities, and often both. Learning how to navigate and confront grief and loss is key to spiritual resiliency and continued growth.
Join us this Sunday as we learn about this important Jewish tradition and how it can influence our own spiritual journey, and enjoy wonderful music and friendly fellowship.
Our 4-week Metaphysics at the Movies series explores the deeper spiritual truths and metaphysical themes woven into beloved films, inviting us to see ourselves and our lives in a new light.
In our second film, Song Sung Blue, two ordinary people follow an unexpected pullβto sing, to perform, to become something more than the lives theyβve settled into. Not because theyβre ready. Not because theyβve been chosen. But because something in them refuses to stay quiet.
What if becoming doesnβt wait for perfect timing, confidence, or permission? What if the life youβre meant to live begins the moment you stop holding back?
This Sunday, Rev. Aliza will be with us in-person as we explore the courage to show up as you areβmessy, uncertain, and realβand the quiet truth that transformation doesnβt happen when youβre readyβ¦ it happens when you begin, before you feel ready.
