Leaving a (Spiritual) Legacy – Part II
Building upon last week's message, Rev. Jean-Marie will explore the deeper meaning of the Book of Job and how it applies to leaving a spiritual legacy in the here and now. What can we learn from Job's lamentations, his friends advice, the unexpected revelations of Elihu (the inner voice), and God's response?
Join us this Sunday as we embrace our true Legacy for everyone to treasure, accompanied by uplifting music, and meaningful fellowship.
Leaving a (Spiritual) Legacy – Part I
Have you ever wondered what about the legacy you will leave to this world? Is it something you plan for the future or do you realize the opportunity to do so in the here and now? Join us this Sunday to consider the possibility for all of us to leave our spiritual legacy as we are rather than waiting for some future point in time. In other words, what legacy are you leaving already for the Goodness of All?
Our talented music team will treat us to their Goodness with wonderful performances of songs by Daniel Nahmod, and following our service, we have opportunities to dig deeper into the message, serve our community, and share a meal and fellowship with others.
Our 4-week Metaphysics at the Movies series explores the deeper spiritual truths and metaphysical themes woven into beloved films, inviting us to see ourselves and our lives in a new light.
In our second film, Song Sung Blue, two ordinary people follow an unexpected pull—to sing, to perform, to become something more than the lives they’ve settled into. Not because they’re ready. Not because they’ve been chosen. But because something in them refuses to stay quiet.
What if becoming doesn’t wait for perfect timing, confidence, or permission? What if the life you’re meant to live begins the moment you stop holding back?
This Sunday, Rev. Aliza will be with us in-person as we explore the courage to show up as you are—messy, uncertain, and real—and the quiet truth that transformation doesn’t happen when you’re ready… it happens when you begin, before you feel ready.
