A bit about me
I am a continuous spiritual seeker. I find lessons and understanding through all interactions I undertake. Much joy is found through tending to nature’s gifts through my ever expanding gardens, hikes and care of my family. My life interests include travel, volunteer activities at UFW, the healing arts and accounting.
Why do I serve?
Since first attending UFW in the Spring of 2017, I have expanded my world through Unity’s spiritual teachings, volunteering in most areas available within UFW and providing financial insights to assist leaders over the last 5 years. I enjoy working through the joys and challenges of transition work, which UFW has supplied many through the years. I have an in-depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities throughout this organization and wish to spark a new direction of growth in the community.
What gifts do I bring?
I have led and participated in many committees during my 8 years at UFW, lending to my deep love for the community and understanding of the many facets underlying the organization. Participation, listening and communication are key needs within a community and I have demonstrated each of these qualities. Currently, I am chairing the minister search committee, where I oversaw the completion and submission of our available senior minister position for posting at UWM. My business acumen will shine as I’m willing to delve into projects, devoting the time, organization and resources needed to successfully bring UFW into its bright, bold future.
