A bit about me
I am originally from Ohio but have lived all over the United States in my adult life. I was an officer in the United States Navy, a teacher and coach, business owner, as well as various sales positions throughout my life. I love to travel and am always looking forward to the next trip. I have been married for the last 27 years.
Why do I serve?
I wanted to serve on the board to guide and help a community that has done so much for my spiritual growth. We were experiencing serious financial difficulties as well as beginning the search for a new minister. I have been on the board of a non profit prior to UFW and felt that I had much to offer. We hired a minister and sold our declining property which eliminated a large financial drain.
What gifts do I bring?
I believe that my life experience, my previous board experience and my ability to listen to the community allows me to guide the board with an open mind and heart.
