A bit about me
I've been a member of Unity Fort Worth since 2022. I am the Platform Chair Lead, a member of the Unity Singers, an Absolute Word reader, and volunteer at 4Saints Mobile Food pantry with the Outreach group. I worked as a Program Director for a Community Mental Health Center for 12 years. I believe that the skills that I used there of leadership, communication, and active listening will be an asset to the board. I enjoy getting to know people and feel that I'm able to get along with everyone. I also think that being a relatively new member affords me a fresh perspective at Unity. I have been a Reiki Master Teacher for 20 years which has guided me to be of service to humanity.
Why do I serve?
I am passionate about Unity Fort Worth and its mission, and I care deeply for our wonderful community. My wish is to see Unity not just survive but thrive, and I want to continue to be an active part of that in whatever way I can serve.
What gifts do I bring?
Passion, commitment, leadership qualities, and good communication skills. I'm open-minded and willing to consider different perspectives on an issue. I also have good presentation skills.
