Message from Board President
We are now into our new fiscal year. With the return of John Libby and Sheree Moltzan and new Board Members Thelene Scarborough and John Sullivan, we are looking forward to a very productive year. I continue to be amazed (I know that I shouldn’t be) at the diversity of skill sets, strength and willingness to serve of all of the board members. As president for my third year, I have asked the Board to share some of the duties. One thing, that you will be seeing, is this letter will be from the Board and not necessarily from the President. Hopefully it will help everyone get to know those representing you.
The Strategic plan will be implemented and with that there will be changes to enhance what we do. The fact that 286 congregants responded to the survey continues to prove that UCFW and its ministries are loved and appreciated. We are so grateful and continually affirm the highest and best for UCFW.
In this month of November, we celebrate Thanksgiving, a day for family, friends and gratitude. I try to celebrate every day as Thanksgiving Day (maybe without all of the food) even through those challenging and stressful days. We know that those days are actually opportunities. And I am especially grateful for our Unity family and UCFW for all of the opportunities that it offers to grow spiritually, to give and to serve. Please join me in gratitude by sharing your gifts of time, talents and treasures through this day and every day.
Rebecca Low
