Pastoral Care
At Unity Church of Fort Worth we believe in the transformative power of prayer. In the knowledge that "...where two or more are gathered.." in Spirit, we commit to support our congregation in prayer.
There are several ways in which you can receive prayer support. We offer spiritual counseling with our ministers, you can be assigned a prayer chaplain for monthly prayer calls or prayer support on Sunday, you can fill out a prayer request on our website, and much more.
Spiritual Counseling
Paul is available for confidential spiritual counseling. This service is provided on a love-offering basis. Call the office to schedule an appointment.
Paul is also available for weddings, christenings, funerals, and memorial services, hospital visits, and prayer.

Personal Statement for Peace
I stand for peace in the presence of conflict.
I stand for love in the presence of hatred.
I stand for forgiveness in the presence of injury.
I honor the many names for God, the many paths to God, and the many ways to worship God.
I believe there is only one power and presence of God, and that God loves each one of us equally.
I turn to God for guidance during these challenging times.
I urge all nations, their leaders, and their people to turn to God by whatever the name for guidance and pursue peace, not war, for this is what honors the God of all faith traditions.
I stand for peace in my lifetime.
I know that God is in charge and I am grateful.

Pastoral Care Terms
| 5-Minute Sunday Prayer | Everyone is invited to join us for a 5-minute prayer time at 10:40 am on Sunday morning around the prayer chest in the Sanctuary. Led by available Prayer Chaplains, all are welcome. |
Prayer Chest

Monday-Saturday it is located in the sanctuary building hallway. Sundays it is located in the sanctuary next to the stage. An additional Prayer Chest is located in the education building first floor hallway. Prayer request slips are available and may be placed in the prayer chest . All those making requests receive the daily prayer.

Prayer List
|
To be included on the prayer list, simply call the church office or leave your name with the welcome center volunteer in the Fellowship Hall. Copies of the prayer list can be found in the rack by the hospitality table, inside the Sunday bulletin.

Peace Chapel
|
This chapel is located near the Sanctuary and is available for private prayer anytime.

Enjoy the quiet and beauty of our Unity Peace Garden for times of prayer and reflection.
