Giving and Tithing
At Unity Church of Fort Worth our ministries are sustained by the tithes, gifts, and offerings given freely by our congregation. We believe that, through God, all things are made possible and we affirm our abundant prosperity. We also believe in the power of tithing, so each week Unity Church of Fort Worth tithes 10% of all contributions received to other non-profit organizations and good causes.
Ways to Give at Unity Church
Weekly Giving Envelopes
This is the most standard way of contributing to Unity Church of Fort Worth. Each Sunday our ushers pass around a collection basket and we ask our congregation to lovingly give a tithe to Unity Church. Our giving envelopes allow the church to keep track of your yearly contributions and we can give you an end of year giving report for tax purposes. These envelopes also allow you to make credit card donations.

Community Partners Program
Unity Church of Fort Worth works in partnership with several grocery stores as well as Amazon.com to receive contributions. Now everytime you shop, a small portion of your purchase will be donated to Unity. Currently we are partnered with the following businesses:
You can pick up an Albertson's Community Partner card in the Sanctuary Foyer. If you have a Kroger or Tom Thumb membership, let customer service know that you would like to partner with Unity Church of Fort Worth.
Simple Giving Program
Your gifts, tithes, and offerings sustain the continued work of all ministries at Unity Church of Fort Worth. Choosing to give activates the prosperity that is available to you right now. Giving a gift to Unity Church of Fort Worth is simple and easy. With our Simple Giving Program you can give weekly, monthly, or on any schedule that suits you. You do not have to be at Unity Church of Fort Worth on Sunday to continue to support your church home. Below you will find our simple giving forms. Treasurer's Report
Good news again. Our income continued to exceed expenses through May. Other good news is that our attendance, tracked on a 12 week rolling average, is up 22% over a year ago. The slightly perplexing fact is that in spite of our increase in weekly attendance our total income year over year is down and so far this year we are $45,000 under our budgeted contributions from members and friends.
This month we start the budgeting process of the church year 2010 – 2011. We sincerely appreciate all we received from all sources, however, members and friends must realize that while we just barely continue to have income in excess of expenses we do not have the resources to expand programs and services beyond what they are today. Our staff is providing us all that they have to give within our current set of priorities. The UCFW staff and Board are committed to seeing that our spiritual community is as efficient as we can be at all times, pursuing our set of priorities, within the resources we have to work with. If our community wants more from UCFW our financial resources must grow.
When I chased after money, I never had enough. When I got my life on purpose and focused on giving of myself and everything that arrived into my life, then I was prosperous.
