Board Development
Are you feeling called to become a member of the board? Choosing to run for the Board of Trustees is a great service and stewardship to the church. Anyone that is an official member of the church (with the exception of staff) could run for the board. Unity Church of Fort Worth has a 'Board Development Team' that seeks out those individuals that have the ability and passion to serve the church as a board member.
The board development team is charged with the selection and development of prospective board members. The team consists of the senior minister, a current board representitive and three members chosen at the Annual General Meeting in September. The chair is chosen from one of the the three members.
The board development team works with prospective board candidates and presents a slate of nominees to the membership for vote at the Annual Meeting.
As part of our commitment to excellence we desire to select, train and encourage these members who can best serve our growing church community.
