What We Offer
The Spiritual Healing Touch Center (SHTC) is dedicated to providing spiritual treatment to anyone seeking healing in any area of their spiritual, emotional or physical life. This treatment is received through gentle touch, prayer, and silent meditation while relaxed on a table. This offers the participants a time for personal renewal and quiet reflection.
Touch therapy can provide deep relaxation, stimulate and balance life energy, relieve stress and anxiety, improve energy and alertness, and much more. This healing technique is universal, powerful and gentle.
The SHTC volunteers are committed to giving complete and loving attention to all who come. We act as facilitators for your healing process, helping you to clear that which keeps you from feeling connected with the Divine Source within. We view our role in healing as being absolutely present with the participant with no personal agenda in play; rather we pray for the highest good of all. To that end, we stay in the silence for the entire evening.
About Our Sessions
The SHTC meets in the Fellowship Hall on the first and third Monday nights of each month at 7 pm (holidays excluded). Please arrive at the church a few minutes before the hour and wait in the Quiet Room (across the hall from the Peace Chapel.)
At 7 pm, a healer will come greet you and take everyone back to the Fellowship Hall. Be prepared to remove your shoes, glasses, and metal jewelry prior to reclining on the table. If you are unable to, or prefer not to, lie on your back for 45 minutes, let us know and we will work with you while you are sitting in a chair. After the session is over, you may rise and leave when ready. Please help your healers stay in the silence by not talking with them after your session is over. We also recommend that each participant drink plenty of pure water that evening and the next day.
In the Unity tradition, Spiritual Healing Touch operates on a love offering basis. The suggested minimum love offering is $10 but lack of funds precludes no one. You are welcome to come as often as you like.
