Unity Fort Worth Seeks Full Time Music Director
Unity Church of Fort Worth seeks a full time Music Director to lead its eclectic music program that includes a 60 member choir, classically trained pianist and numerous musicians. Our church provides music from classical to Rock and Roll, from chant to blues. A director who is also a vocalist and/or keyboardist would be preferable. Featured Artist of the Month - Victoria Stautzenberger
A Texas native, Victoria grew up in a family rich in artists and craftsmen. From early childhood she excelled in art. At 30, she switched from two-dimensional works to sculpture. Her formal education in French classical realism began at the Vaugel Studio in the Loire Valley, France. There she studied under the esteemed Martine Vaugel, the only woman to ever twice win the International Rodin Grand Prix Monumental Figure Competition, one of Europe's most admired living figurative sculptors. From France she studied in classes at the Loveland Academy of Fine Arts in Colorado with two of America's best sculptors, Eugene Daub, and Tuck Langland.
Since completing her formal training, she resides in Texas and specializes in the nearly lost art of bas-relief. Bas-relief is the projection of a figure from a flat plane. It's most recognized form is that of the traditional "cameo". Gallery exhibitions have included; An Artist's Christmas, Fort Worth, Texas, Chateau Colbert, Maulievrier, France, Beaux-Arts Gallery, Grapevine, Texas, The Milan Gallery, Fort Worth, Texas.
