Volunteering in Youth & Family Ministry is another great way to make a meaningful contribution to our church community.  We have several volunteer positions available that we would love to talk with you about!  If there is a position you are interested in, have been attending Unity Church of Fort Worth for at least 6 months, love children, and can make a commitment of your time and talent, please contact the church office at 817.423.2965 or send an e-mail to info@unityfortworth.org

Available Positions:

We need fun, loving helpers in our 9:30 Circle, Nursery, Kindergarten and 1st & 2nd Grade Classrooms.

Nursery - We need 3 or 4 additional people to staff the 11:00am Nursery on Sunday morning.  The children are ages 6 weeks to 2 years in this class. Requirements:  ability to lift to 30 lbs., give hugs, wipe noses, change the occasional diaper, have fun and play with the children.

Teacher for 9:30 Circle Class:  We need 2-4 people to help facilitate our 9:30 Circle class for children ages 6-12 on a rotating basis.  We provide the curriculum, craft materials and books.  You provide an enthusiastic attitude, a love for children, and the ability to creatively teach Unity spiritual principles.

Kindergarten: 1-2 volunteers are needed for our Kindergarten class during the 11am Service. This position requires a six month commitment teaching and/or assisting two times each month.  Curriculum, training, support, and supplies are provided. This is a great service opportunity for parents and anyone else looking to make a difference in a child's life. 

1st/2nd Grade Class: Our sweet six and seven year olds invite you to join them in learning more about God, Unity spiritual principles, and how to apply them to our lives in a meaningful way. We have a position available at the 11am Service, teaching and/or assisting 1-2 times each month. As with all of our positions, training, support, curriculum, and supplies are cheerfully provided..

Youth & Family Ministry Administrative Assistant (2 to 4 hours a week)
Assist the YFM Director with various projects, office work, art projects.
