Hello, this is Paul John Roach, senior minister of Unity Church of Fort
Worth.
How long did Jesus suffer on the cross or at the hands of the Roman soldiers?
Not longer than a day or so. Yes the pain and the punishment were extreme
but they were temporary. It had no power to break Christ’s spirit.
Throughout the ordeal Jesus remained centered in the love of his Father.
And that love ensured the glorious resurrection.
I believe that Jesus Christ’s whole life and ministry was a resurrection
experience.
Where there was disease, pain, brokenness, judgement and hurt Jesus brought
the good news of health, vitality, wholeness, unconditional love and freedom.
These qualitites are inherent in the Spirit of love and Truth that is
our birthright as children of God.
This week I focus not on suffering and pain but on God’s victory
and magnificence at work in this world and in me.
Pass on the love.

Hi I’m Miriam Hoffman-Roach from Unity Church of Fort Worth.
The nature of human life is change. Everything changes.
When I was a little girl I thought my life as a child would go on forever.
I believed that my mother and father would always be around.
Sometimes we just don’t realize how fortunate we are. Once someone
we love leaves this world we reflect on both the positive and negative
aspects of that person and miss them both.
The good times and the bad times are all part of the whole person. This
is true for ourselves and everyone we meet.
Be easy on yourself. And be gentle to those around you.
Life is relatively short so cherish the tears and the laughter, the pain
and the joy.
Smile, pass on the love!

Hello, this is Paul John Roach, senior minister of Unity Church of Fort
Worth.
What is the source of your prosperity? Is it found in your paycheck,
or in your bank account or investment portfolio. I don't think so.
These things are certainly evidence of the flow of money in your life
but they are not the source. Like the weather they fluctuate and are subject
to market forces, the economic climate and changes of many kinds.
The source, though, is not subject to change. The Source is the inexhaustible
energy and creativity of the Universe. It cannot be depleted. It is everywhere
present and always available. It is activated by acknowledging it's Presence
and accelerated by giving.
In order to receive greater prosperity generously give. And it will be
given to you. It's as simple as that.
I invite you to live it today.

Hi I’m Miriam Hoffman-Roach from Unity Church of Fort Worth.
"You shall love your neighbor as yourself," says Jesus.
Do you know that feeling inside you like butterflies in your stomach?
And a joy that can be seen in your eyes. Do you know that feeling when
you have found the one?
That spirit of love can be felt anytime, anywhere, by anyone. The spirit
of love can be felt in the car, at church, in the park, in a synagogue,
at work, at home, in the shower, at a baseball game, in a temple, at a
concert, out of the country and in your home town, walking down the street,
in school, between two people and between 12,000 people, and when you’re
all alone.
The spirit of love is everywhere!
If you have the time, take a moment now to connect with the one you love.
Smile, pass on the love!

Hello, this is Paul John Roach, senior minister of Unity Church of Fort
Worth.
The Buddha’s last words were " All formations are impermanent,
every thing changes, so work out your own salvation with diligence."
Life on planet earth is temporary. We are all in rental property called
our bodies. Knowing this can be a motivation to discover the Truth of
ourselves. What is it that enlivens this body, this form called me? Unlike
the form this living essence within us is not subject to time and change.
It is whole and free. It is called by many names – Great Spirit,
Christ Consciousness, Buddha Nature, the Divine, Oneness, Love, but it
is not limited to any name.
This week I choose to go on a glorious journey of discovery into the
Truth of me. And this Truth sets me free.

Children of the Lord
Wow it’s early in the morning, you have your whole day ahead of
you. You can choose right now what kind of day you will have. You are
a beautiful child of God.
Chose today to affirm: I am a beautiful child of God. Chose to react
with kindness today. Chose to connect with someone that you never have
before.
What kind of day do you want to have? A day filled with unlimited possibility.
A day filled with love. This is the day the Lord has made.
Smile, pass on the love!

Hello, this is Paul John Roach, senior minister of Unity Church of Fort
Worth.
Let me ask you a question – Where is your focus? What do you spend
most of your time and energy on? The answer is important because it determines
who we are.
Jesus put it this way, “Where you treasure is there will your
heart be also.”
My treasure is what I value most and spend most of my energy focusing
on. It may surprise us how much time and energy we spend each day on petty
details, hassles and incidentals. If that is the case our hearts are impoverished.
This week we can intentionally return our focus to what is really important
to us: to our family and friends, to appreciating life, to being more
loving and so more vitality alive.
I invite you to expand your heart today.

Hi I’m Miriam Hoffman-Roach from Unity Church of Fort Worth.
Though the fig tree does not blossom,
And no fruit is on the vines
Though the produce of the olive fails
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock is cut off from the fold,
And there is no herd in the stalls,
Yet I will rejoice in the Lordo:p>
In other words, even though my best laid plans don’t always work
out as I would like and things do not always go my way accidents happen,
situations change relationships get crushed and we lose people we care
about in our lives I will remember that to be alive is a miracle I’m
so grateful and must spread this good news to others. Today be aware of
all the blessings in your life. Share these blessings with others.
Smile, pass on the love!

Hello, this is Paul John Roach, senior minister of Unity Church of Fort
Worth.
Jesus asked us to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. Like a Zen
master he uses paradox for dramatic effect.
Being wise as serpents means being nobody’s fool, grounded and
skillful in the ways we live and move through our lives. Yet this wisdom
must be balanced with the innocence and purity of a dove that knows no
limits as it soars in the sky.
Imagine combining the open hearted qualitites of the dove with the tough
minded wisdom of the snake:
Love and wisdom, innocence and maturity in the world but not of it. This
is the way to achieve harmony in every situation in our life.
I invite you to live it today.
