from the writings of co-founders Charles
and Myrtle Fillmore, as well as contributions from prominent Unity writers - H. Emilie Cady, Imelda Shanklin, Ernest Wilson and Eric Butterworth, among others. The classes are organized around the five fundamentals of Truth. Facilitated by Paul John Roach and Bruce Verkruyse.

BePeace is a method using Heart Math and Nonviolent Communication to create peace in your own heart, mind and body and then use it in your interactions with others. Learn how this program is taught to the students and teachers in the class rooms of Costa Rica. And learn how to use it in your daily life.
Virginia Cummings has been in Unity for the past 20 years and has served in several capacities during that time. She successfully completed the 40 hour BePeace course at Unity Village in January of this year. This course was taught by Rita Maria Johnson the founder of The Academy of Peace in Costa Rica.
Women's Retreat Potluck & Retreat Reunion

Our keynote speaker is Rev. Lynne Brown who heads Silent Unity, our movement's century-old prayer ministry. She succeeds Myrtle Fillmore, Unity co-founder; May Rowland, said to have rebuked a tornado headed for Unity Village as witnesses watched it change course; and James Dillet Freeman, author of our Prayer for Protection. Lynne exudes the same powerful consciousness and will share her energy, wisdom and insights on the power of affirmative prayer.

The “Caregiver Care Connection” is an educational and support group for those dealing with elder caregiving issues. Caregiver Care Connection offers support and a continuing series of educational programs pertaining to providing care and support of elders. These educational programs are open to all.
This program will discuss common behavior and emotional changes in older adults and responses to difficult behavior. It will also discuss ways to identify and respond to signs of depression or suicide. Contact: Church Office for information, 817.423.2965.

Unity Church of North Houston in Texas.
2008 will mark 30 years of ministerial service for Shay. Her career began in 1978 as she pioneered a Unity group in Savannah, Georgia. Beyond leadership in Unity ministry, Shay has also been actively involved in Regional and International service to Unity. From Regional and Association Board and Executive Team service to Regional Representative, she has been and continues to be present for other ministers and ministries in the Unity movement. Her vision in ministry is to serve passionately, to love wastefully and
to empower all who are willing to grow to be all that God intended them to be. Yes, IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT.

In this seminar I teach everyone about Tapping on Acupuncture Points with one’s fingers to get rid of blocks to our growth. This is very similar to EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique. In this seminar however, we will be going one step further
than a traditional EFT seminar because we will be using it for positive purposes such as manifestation as well as for healing blocks. Course participants will be learning how to combine the Tapping technique with the Quantum Field technology so that they may manifest the Life of their Dreams.
